Avoid using string or plastic bags.

Anything that comes with your regular newspapers.

All Catalogs, phone books and junk mail.

Paper napkins, tissue paper, paper towels, wrapping paper, food-soiled paper

Paper Boards

Flatten and remove tape, staples and strapping.

Breadk down boxes into 3x3 foot sections.

Brown corrugated cardboard.

Brown paper bags.

Boxboard (cereal boxes, shoe boxes, gift boxes).

Pizza boxes, refrigerator and freezer boxes, pop and beer boxboard, waxed corrugated cardboard

Glass Bottles

Rinse containers, remove lids and caps, and place loose in recycling bin.

Labels do not have to be removed.

All clear, green and brown food and beverage glass containers or jars.

Ceramic items, flower pots, light bulbs, mirror and window glass, ovenware.

Metal Cans

Rinse containers and place loose in recycling bin.

Labels do not have to be removed.

All metail food and beverage cans. Metal lids and caps. Aluminum pie tins.

Batteries, propane cylinders, silverware or metal cookware, metallic cardboard, aluminum foil.

Plastic Bottles

Rinse containers andplace loose in recycling bin.

Labels do not have to be removed.

Plastic food, soap and beverage containers with screw-on lids.

Milk, juice and water jugs.

Only small-necked containers.

Yogurt, cottage cheese, or other wide-mouthed containers.

Antifreeze and motor oil containers

Plastic plates, plastic bags, styrofoam, take-home food containers.

Milk and Juice Cartons
